About the Guest Speaker
Mark Smithyes is the Founder of Janus Life Sciences Consulting, where he advises early-stage life sciences companies on fundraising, commercialization, reimbursement, and growth strategy. With over 30 years of experience spanning global pharmaceutical and medical device companies, he also founded and successfully exited his own life sciences startup. Mark serves as an advisor to several funds and incubators, is on faculty at the University of Toronto and McMaster University, and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
